SKU: TCF-ISO Category:

Use this when you need to think on your feet and process information quickly. It’s designed to help you stay calm and mentally clear while you work through demanding tasks, whether that’s studying, solving a problem, or just getting through a busy day.

  • Support deep concentration through long study or work sessions
  • Encourage clearer, calmer thinking under pressure
  • Ease tension and mental fatigue during demanding tasks

How it works

This session uses isochronic tones, rhythmic pulses of sound layered beneath the music. Your brain naturally starts to sync with a steady rhythm like this, and this track is designed to encourage that.

It plays a different isochronic beat frequency in each ear:

  • A wider range in your right ear, aimed at the side of your brain that handles logic and reasoning, climbing as high as 20Hz
  • A narrower range in your left ear, moving up to around 14.5Hz

Because the right ear carries the stronger push, it’s designed to help strengthen focus and analytical thinking. Because it relies on different tones in each ear, headphones are essential for this one.

Who is this for?

It’s a good fit if you’re studying or working through a long, demanding task, need to think clearly and quickly under pressure, or you’re looking for some extra support with attention and focus, including if you have ADHD. It isn’t a treatment for ADHD, just a tool some listeners find helpful alongside whatever else works for them.

How this session is constructed

Think Clearer and Faster - Session Frequency Cycle Chart

Over each 30-minute cycle, both ears drop back to a resting 10Hz between four short bursts. Each burst pushes a little higher than the last:

  • The right ear climbs to 17Hz, then 18Hz, then 19Hz, then 20Hz across the four bursts
  • The left ear follows a gentler climb from 13Hz up to 14.5Hz.
  • This step-up pattern repeats throughout the track, giving your focus periodic pushes rather than one long steady climb.

Headphones are essential

Because this session delivers independent frequencies to each ear, headphones are essential for the full effect to come through. Find more info on how split-ear stimulation works.

How loud to have the volume

The main thing to consider is that it should be loud enough to hear the repetitive isochronic tones. You don’t want it so quiet that you can hardly hear it, but you also don’t want it so loud that it’s uncomfortable, hurts your ears, or gives you a headache. I’d recommend starting with the volume around halfway and adjusting it to a level that you feel comfortable with from there.

About my process

I build every track using isochronic tones, combined with music that carries its own amplitude entrainment effects, both working toward the same goal.

This is based on small-scale research into focus, ADHD and memory, plus what I’ve learned from thousands of listener conversations since I started in 2006. It’s not a clinically proven treatment, and any effects are claimed to be temporary, fading once you stop listening.
