A Light Relaxing Meditation Session in Alpha
This light Alpha meditation session will suit both experienced and inexperienced meditators. It’s ideal if you’re short on time. Also, if you’re new to meditation, this session will be a good starter before progressing to the deeper Theta meditation states.
How Low Alpha Meditation Works
It’s a 20-minute meditation session that will quickly lower your brainwave frequency to 8.5Hz (low Alpha) within 5 minutes. You will then be held for the remaining 15 minutes.
7 Different Background Tracks Included
You receive the 7 MP3s listed below, allowing you to select the sound that suits your mood. Each con has the same frequency of sessions but with an alternative background option.
Note: Laptop speakers are usually too small to produce enough bass to effectively hear the entrainment tones. For better sound quality and results, we recommend using external speakers or headphones.

Listening Instructions
- Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
- Ideally, you should be in a distraction-free area and as quiet as possible.
- Close your eyes and relax.
As stated, this session is not intended to induce sleep, but rather is highly relaxing. Incidentally, at the end of the session, you will be gently guided back from a deep meditative state into a state of awareness and wakefulness, yet you will still feel deeply relaxed.
Equipment Required?
Headphones are not required, but using the theme often produces a positive experience. Any cheap ones will do, as you don’t need anything top-of-the-range. The small ‘in-ear’ earphones or the more substantial ‘over-ear’ earphones are fine.
External speakers—If you are listening with a laptop, the speakers are probably very small, so it’ll be hard to hear the isochronic tones effectively. So, I recommend plugging in some external speakers for laptops.
