How it works
This session uses isochronic tones (evenly spaced pulses of sound that help guide your brainwaves into a steady rhythm) targeting the gamma range, the fastest of the main brainwave frequencies, linked with focus and mental clarity.
- Over each 15-minute cycle, the tone moves from 40Hz up to 40.5Hz, back down to 39.5Hz, then returns to 40Hz.
- That steady, repeating movement is designed to stop the stimulation from feeling flat or repetitive.
Who it’s for
Good for studying, coding, or reading that demands deep attention. Also works well for focus-based meditation or any mental training where you want to push toward your sharpest, most alert state.
Headphones aren’t required
Headphones are not required, but they’re recommended if you’re listening in a noisy environment. They help block out room noise and tend to make the effect more noticeable.
How loud should the volume be?
You should adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. It shouldn’t be so loud that it hurts your ears or becomes too distracting.
About my process
I build every track using isochronic tones combined with music that carries its own amplitude-entrainment effects, both working toward the same goal.
This is based on small-scale research into focus, plus what I’ve learned from thousands of conversations with listeners since I started in 2006. The effects are claimed to be temporary, fading once you stop listening.
