How to Use

 Listen to these sessions in a quiet, comfortable place, free of distraction, in a chair or lying down. After starting the session, close your eyes and relax.  

Dissociative versions - These sessions are particularly useful for people who are restless and have trouble relaxing. (Headphones required).  

Alternating versions - These sessions use a protocol which alternates stimulation between the left and right ears, which is particularly useful for people who are hyperactive. (Headphones required).  

Variable Onset - These sessions uses a "Variable Onset" technique, which involves using several ramps, each starting at a lower frequency. This method is useful for people who have trouble entering trance states or relaxing on their own.

Alternating Variable Onset - These session use a complex protocol which alternates stimulation between the left and right ears, and uses several ramps to reach the target brainwave frequency. These techniques are useful for hyperactive people who have problems entering trance states or relaxing on their own. (Headphones required).  

Binaural Beats - The majority of our sessions use Isochronic Tones because it's the most powerful and effective form of entrainment. But we have included a Binaural Beats version here for some low frequency sessions, as a softer entrainment alternative. (Headphones required).

This is a 10 Hz Alpha session, called "Daydream Meditation" because the session approximates the state of mind people are in when deeply involved in a daydream.

Alpha Meditation - 35 minutes (ambient background)

This session brings the user down to a low Alpha state, at 8.5 Hz. This is a deeper session than the "Daydream" meditation, but high enough that inexperienced users should have no problem using it.

Shumann Resonance Meditation (ambience) 35 mins

This is a session which ramps down to the Schumann Resonance frequency, or 7.83 Hz. This is the same vibrating frequency of the Earth. Research done with Zen meditators shows that 7.83 is a significant frequency, and other research indicates that stimulating the Schumann frequency results in more blood flow in the brain than any other frequency.

This is meditation session stimulating upper Theta, 7 Hz: deeper than the Schumann meditation sessions, but higher than the regular Theta meditation. This session is inspired by the work of Maxwell Cade and his research with experienced Zen meditators. Cade noticed that this pattern emerged after deeper Zen meditations, and so this is often called the "afterglow of meditation."

Theta Meditation 50 minutes (ambient)

This is a Theta meditation, ramping in steps down to 6.5 Hz. This session stimulates mid-Theta, so it may be an easier to remain conscious during this session than with the deeper Theta meditations.

This is a deep Theta meditation, ramping in steps slowly down to 5.5 Hz. Many people may find this session is so deep that they fall asleep during the session. Others may experience lucid visualizations, since this level of Theta is closely correlated with REM sleep.

This session ramps slowly down to the deepest Delta levels (1.05) Many people using this session will fall asleep, since it resembles the sleep induction sessions. It differs from sleep induction in that there is an upward ramp at the end to help bring you out of the Delta state before the session is completed.
